Hapja e Ekspozitës së Festivalit Ndërkombëtar të Posterit – Prishtina 2025
Tema: DEMOKRACIA
Galeria ka kënaqësinë të hapë ekspozitën zyrtare të Festivalit Ndërkombëtar të Posterit “Prishtina 2025”, që këtë vit zhvillohet nën temën Demokracia. Edicioni i vitit 2025 e kthen festivalin në një platformë reflektimi vizual mbi mënyrën se si demokracia jetohet, sfidohet dhe riformësohet sot — sidomos në Ballkanin Perëndimor, ku tranzicioni politik, kujtesa kolektive dhe aspiratat europiane vazhdojnë të ndikojnë realitetin shoqëror.
Ekspozita sjell punime nga artistë, dizajnerë, studentë dhe aktivistë nga mbarë bota, të cilët përmes gjuhës së posterit adresojnë çështje si pjesëmarrja qytetare, liria e medias, korrupsioni, përkatësia, kujtesa dhe shpresa. Këto postera ndërtojnë një portret të një rajoni në dialog të vazhdueshëm me vetveten dhe me botën — duke ekspozuar sfidat, por edhe energjinë transformuese të demokracisë.
Në një kohë kur vlerat demokratike janë nën presion global, “Prishtina 2025” e vendos posterin si medium të mendimit kritik, rezistencës vizuale dhe angazhimit qytetar. Përmes kësaj ekspozite, arti rifiton rolin e tij publik: të pyesë, të kujtojë dhe të imagjinojë.

Opening of the International Poster Festival Exhibition – Prishtina 2025
Theme: DEMOCRACY
The Gallery is pleased to announce the opening of the official exhibition of the International Poster Festival “Prishtina 2025”, which this year is held under the theme Democracy. The 2025 edition turns the festival into a platform for visual reflection on how democracy is lived, challenged, and reshaped today — particularly in the Western Balkans, where political transition, collective memory, and European aspirations continue to shape social realities.
The exhibition presents works by artists, designers, students, and activists from around the world. Through the language of the poster, these works address issues such as civic participation, media freedom, corruption, belonging, memory, and hope. Together, they create a portrait of a region in constant dialogue with itself and with the world — exposing its challenges while revealing the transformative energy of democracy.
At a time when democratic values are under global pressure, “Prishtina 2025” positions the poster as a medium of critical thought, visual resistance, and civic engagement. Through this exhibition, art reclaims its public role: to question, to remember, and to imagine.
