Specialisation Overview

The Conceptual Art and New Media Specialisation focuses on the development of contemporary artistic practices oriented towards conceptual and interdisciplinary research. The programme includes advanced forms of expression such as installation, video art, digital practices, and spatial interventions, encouraging critical and experimental approaches to art. Students develop projects that address contemporary issues in local and international contexts, building an independent and reflective practice.

Day II – Conceptual task

  • Development of an artistic idea (sketch, short written text, or visual presentation);
  • Assessed: conceptual thinking, ability to articulate ideas, and critical approach.

 

Interview / Essay

  • Assessed: ability to articulate ideas and interest in contemporary practices.
